The treatment protocol included three 60-minute sessions per week with a day off between sessions. During the session, manual therapy for muscle release and stretching was combined with exercise therapy which was specific to the patient’s following Schroth guidelines about scoliosis treatment with lengthening exercises for contracted and shortened muscles and strengthening exercises for elongated muscles. The protocol also included postural correction exercises along with breathing exercises.
